Light Infantry

The most daring of your foot troops, these short and nimble men fight in open order, free firing into much larger groups of enemies. They go by many names depending on where the troops are from, Jägers (Prussia and Britain's German allies), Pundars (Russia), Grenzer Sharpshooters (Austria), and Chasseurs (France). Additionally Prussia and Austria have lower tier versions of these units known as Frei Infantrie Fusiliers, and Grenzer Fusiliers respectively. They are skirmishers, and excel at shooting and reloading, also due to their open order formation you can have units behind them shooting over their heads, mixed with that they take less fire damage from enemy units, but to balance this out they are incredibly weak to being charged. While weak in melee these dashing men often in green jackets can rout enemies just by shooting them at long range, and these men can delay the enemy while setting up a defense.

Heavy Line Infantry

The anchor of your Army, these already taller than average men, made even taller by their tall mitres or bear skin caps, are an imposing and deadly bunch on the battlefield. Mostly referred to as grenadiers (that name deriving from the grenades they often used) by all nations, with some having more generalist ones called Fusiliers (Prussia, and Russia). Are assault infantry, having lower numbers than line infantry, and worse accuracy and reloading stats, they excel in morale, melee, and charging stats. While not amazing in certain ways these men are a force to be feared at the end of their bayonets, not much can withstand a full blown charge of well equipped and trained heavy Infantry.
